My favorite things...

So, one of my favorite things is a FABULOUS Cherry Limeade from Sonic!

It's heavenly, trust me!!! They just built a new Sonic about 30 seconds from my house....and this is dangerous! Though, luckily my most favorite thing there is just a drink....not TOO many calories :)

Nursing 101, here I come

I sucessfully passed Nursing 100, yay!!! Today was our final exam and after being (continuously) sick and not having a great opportunity to study...I'm happy to say that I passed it and the class! Not that I was worried... So, I get a short break and then it's onto NUR 101! I hope every semester flys by as quickly as this one has!

Meet my new co-worker

For the next 7 weeks, I'll be spending every Monday and Wednesday with this little guy! Little Bryce (who was featured in earlier posts) is 2 months old now and sadly his mommy had to go back to work! Luckily, my school schedule is perfect so that I can help her out by staying with him a couple days a week so he can be in the comfort of his own home! Our first day is coming to a close and I'm sure Grace is counting down the minutes until she gets to come home to her baby....but for now, Bryce and I are hanging out and watching some One Tree Hill :) He seems to be enjoying it! Back to work :)

Work it out...

So, after seeing many many many pictures of myself that caused me to cringe, I FINALLY rejoined the gym. In the past year, I seem to have done nothing but gain weight. So, now it's finally time to do something about it. My plan is to hit the gym 6 days a week like I used to do....once upon a time! Hopefully I will get my butt back in shape quickly. Here's Hoping!!!!

1 down, 6 to go (well, almost)...

The end of my first semester of nursing school is QUICKLY approaching. Yesterday was our last lecture, today our last clinical and all I have left is my final exam. It's crazy how fast it has flown by. I hope the next 6 semesters go by just as fast! My grades are looking excellent...which definitely makes me a happy girl! So, think of me as I get through the next week studying for my final!

As for the rest of this week, I'm going to enjoy the next 2 days...no classes, no responsibilities!!! Love it!

There's not much to say, except....

Testing...

So, the next week is crazy for me. I have 3 tests between now and next Tuesday. Bio, Anatomy and Nursing. And, it's already time to register for classes for the summer semester. Nursing School is just flying by...not that I'm complaining! Undergrad definitely flew by so why should I expect any different? I'm just ready to be done with school and officially be a nurse...but I have about 27 more months until that happens.

Today I had my mid-term evaluation w/ my clinical instructor and her exact words were "You're doing great, your grades are great and there is nothing I can tell you to do any differently"....so, that makes me feel better about what I'm doing! Guess that means I should get back to studying so it stays that way.

Spring Broke...

So, I'm on "spring break" from nursing school. Spring break is just not the same at 26. First of all, I'm a broke nursing student...secondly, all my friends work so I'm home alone...and lastly, I have to take Anatomy at the community college which doesnt have spring break until 3/16...so I'm stuck here regardless....

Thanks goodness Grace is on Maternity Leave w/ Baby Bryce b/c it gives me good excuses to get out of the house and go visit :) Here is a new picture of the little guy from my visit yesterday....

And, this afternoon, 2 of my nephews determined what they want to be when they grow up....

They are just so darn cute! Love them to death :)
